The House and Senate yesterday voted to let President Bush’s tax cuts expire. They say it’s not a tax increase. And thay say it with a straight face! The Senate wants to increase taxes on middle income Americans on up. All three senators running for President returned to Washington to cast their votes. John McCain voted to not increase our taxes. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama voted to increase our taxes.
Do these people see the news? Do they have any idea what tax hikes would do to our already struggling economy? Oh, but don’t worry because they plan to add some federal programs. That’ll help.
