Cindy McCain told George Stephanopoulos that she is offended by Obama’s attacks on her wealth. She told him that her parents sold whatever they could to scrape together $10,000 to start their business and that she is quite proud of what they built.
She should be offended. Since when should someone in American be expected to explain or apologize for wealth or success? Her parents built a successful company and she said she “intends to carry their legacy as long as I can”. Good for her.
The interview is going to air tomorrow morning.
