More empty promises from the Pope of Hope

With a straight face Barack Obama promised to create millions of union jobs. He sure is ambitious, that one.

Of course, these millions of jobs will be in alternative energy. He’s worked out a plan with T. Boone Pickens and Nancy Pelosi. He’ll pay for all of these fake jobs by “ending tax breaks for companies that move overseas.”  He’s said that before, I’m sure of it. I just don’t know if anyone has ever asked him to explain what that actually means. If a company moves overseas, won’t they be paying taxes to the government…..where they’ve moved?

Obama then reiterated that Republicans would try to scare people by telling them ”He’s young, he’s got a funny name, he’s not patriotic.” For some strange reason, Obama never denies that any of that is true. So what he’s really saying is “I’m young, I’ve got a funny name and I’m not patriotic.”

From there it just gets more and more ridiculous. He said we should be using Iraq war money to “rebuild Virginia.” What?! What happened to Virginia? Was there a disaster I didn’t hear about?

He capped it all off with the biggest lie of the week. He told the people of Martinsville, VA that he would wake up every day in the White House thinking about them.

Soon he’ll be telling us he can turn water into wine.

Did he not promise something like that to veterans too?

Next thing you’ll know he’ll change his name to Moses, part the red sea and feed all the starving people with fish. All while drinking his wine has made from water. He’ll even go visit Britian or worse Iran by walking there. Instead of curing blindnes he’ll make all the angry terrorists and American haters happy with his talk.
I’m not sure if this is a presidential campaign or another new testament in the making. He’ll start having the Bilbe reprinted with “The gospel according to Moses Barack”. Go to church and read that one with a straight face all while trying not to get struck by lightning.

    SoetorObama’s a fool.

He hasn’t the vaguest idea of what’s involved in developing alternative technologies for alternative energies, or how much each could contribute IF AND WHEN they do get developed.

Nor does he have a clue about how important existing energies–coal, oil and natural gas–are to our country and the world’s supply, INCLUDING during any 10 to 20 to 30 year transition to more alternative energy sources, and then afterward.

And those jobs in alternative energies? He’s also no clue at what level of expertise and education will be needed and where.

Nor does he have an inkling of potential negative lifecycle costs that may show that development of some alternative energy resources do not make any economic or environmental sense, once analyzed.

Anyone who’s willing to believe him is, well, a fool as is he.

Thing is, he knows he lying. But they’ll be so desperate, they’ll actually believe him.

Yep, he’s clueless. Hopefully the American people are starting to take note.

Yeah, he’s pretty much laid claim to all of that so far. A legend in his own minds eye. I’m just waiting for him to change his attire to a olive branch and toga.
    - you know….. I just looked up the word attire to make sure I spelled it correctly on the Webster site and guess whos face pops up???? This is a nightmare that won’t end.

We can only pray it ends on November 5th and then BO can go back to being another loud mouthed senator.
