Warning-Fairness Doctrine could apply to the web!

The concern about the “Fairness Doctrine” has centered on the effect it will have on talk radio. No one thought it would effect web sites or blogs.  Well, think again. According to FCC Commissioner Robert McDowell, the Fairness Doctrine (or whatever they decide to re-name it)  and “the net neutrality effort could win the support of ‘a few isolated conservatives’ who may not fully realize the long-term effects of government regulation.” Which “few isolated conservatives” could he be talking about? The “Cowardly Five” Republican Senators in the Gang of Ten? Why not, they cave on everything else, so why not the Fairness Doctrine.

If they have their way The Lonely Conservative will be posting articles from the Illustrious Liberal.

If this ever gets applied to me then I guess I should start saving some money for the fines I’ll rack up.

    Wouldn’t that be a write-off?
