It looks like Bill O’Reilly found a way to get Obama to admit that the Iraq troop surge, which Obama so vehemently opposed, succeeded. In fact, he said the sucess was “beyond his wildest dreams.” Yet he stubbornly refuses to admit that his opposition to the surge was wrong.
Using some of Obama’s famous circular logic, one can only conclude that he never had faith in the US military. He said nobody could have anticipated the outcome. He did not believe the United States Armed Forces was able to achieve victory. This man, Barack Obama, wants to be Commander-in-Chief of a military he has no faith in.
What more do we need to know.
Update: Bill O’Reilly just aired part 1 of 3 (parts two and three will be shown Monday and Tuesday).
Obama had plenty to say about the current administration. He fell short by not giving any indication of what his foreign policy would be. He talked about Pah-kee-stahn and how tough he’ll be with them. He was very “nuanced” in explaining who we are fighting in the war on terror.
I was very inimpressed.
