Our useless Congress is back in session. Do you think the Democrats are proposing a new comprehensive energy policy that includes allowing drilling, new refineries and nuclear plants? Well don’t be silly! They don’t waste their time on such trivialities.
The Democrat’s agenda is to spend your hard earned dollars as fast as they can possibly confiscate them. Speaker Pelosi and her gang of idiots are pushing a new $50 to $75 billion stimulus package. Their proposals include a bailout of the auto industry. Seriously, I think the taxpayers have had enough bailouts for one week.
I’d really like to know who is advising this gang of idiots. Has anyone ever met or heard of a financial advisor tell a family when they’re having financial problems to spend more money, increase their credit card limit and take out large loans?
Congress, please go back home, we simply can’t afford you.
My wife works for a Financial Advisor. All they do is shake their heads at the stupidity.
We don’t need a stimulus package we need good government decision making. Unfortunately that’s big governments solution to every problem, just throw money at it. That’s what got New York into their mess.

As far as NY, I’ve been ignoring it with so much going on in the national election. I promise to get back to NY one of these days. I’ll be writing about the Sweetland vs. Maffei congressional race very soon.
Did you hear what the accidental governor said? According to him, the McCain campaign is racist for talking about Obama being a community organizer. Well, he touts it in his speeches, then compares his campaign to Palin’s stint as mayor, not mentioning that she is now governor. Hello?!? Is anybody listening?
