Lefty eliitst snobs not only don’t recognize the trait in themselves, they fail to admit there is any elitism coming from the left at all. Barack Obama’s remarks that bitter Americans cling to guns and religion, in their minds, is nothing more than a statement of fact. Paul Krugman proves it when he calls up the ghost of Richard Nixon in his latest piece. He argues that the GOP is still the party of Nixon. Now the Democrats not only get to run against George Bush, but also Richard Nixon.
But don’t be fooled either by Mr. McCain’s long-ago reputation as a maverick or by Ms. Palin’s appealing persona: the Republican Party, now more than ever, is firmly in the hands of the angry right, which has always been much bigger, much more influential and much angrier than its counterpart on the other side.
Is he serious? Has he ever seen the Daily Kos? What about Huffington Post, where they now have someone monitoring comments to weed out the hate and the obscene? Gee whiz, has he ever read any of his own columns?
He argues “there is no evidence whatsoever that Democrats look down their noses at regular people.” Isn’t telling regular people they aren’t able to handle their own affairs without the help of some liberal/socialist politician a form of “looking down” on them?

Oh yes this is very typical- right wingers are “angry” and everyone on the left is just God’s gift to America. If Conservatives are angry, it’s because we want the government to keep their grubby hands out of our pockets.
I think you’re absolutely right to identify liberal politicians as elitists- Obama thinks he’s entitled to the presidency, and he condescends to everyone he talks to. On O’reilly he talked in what I thought was an effeminate way, assuring Bill that he could jump right into the position of Commander in Chief, even though he has no executive experience whatsoever, and take care of everything . No need to worry kids! Daddy’s here!

Question for Krugman: If we McCainiacs & Palinistas are so “angry,” why is it that I can’t stop laughing when I read your column?
Answer for Krugman (Yale undergrad; MIT) to his question, ‘Can the super-rich former governor of Massachusetts — the son of a Fortune 500 C.E.O. who made a vast fortune in the leveraged-buyout business — really keep a straight face while denouncing “Eastern elites”?’ Of course; he knows who the establishment elite really is. I created the following petition. If you are a Hillary supporters, sign the petition and spread the word!
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/hillaryforpalin/index.html
The MSM and particularly NBC and CNN, continues to declare that Palin does not have the support of ex-Hillary supporters despite evidence all across the Internet and forums that many ex-Hillary supporters love Palin.
In addition to contacting the MSM personally and trying to set them straight, this is another opportunity to show your support.
We are shooting for 10,000 within 2 – 3 weeks and then we can print and mail this to CNN and MSNBC.
Please sign this ONLY if you were a supporter for Hillary in the past and ONLY if you are a woman.
If you are Democrat, Republican or Independent female supporter for Palin but NOT an ex-Hillary supporter, sign this petition:
