McCain Suspends Campaign – Expect a Jump in the Polls

John McCain has announced his staff is working on re-scheduling Friday night’s debate with Barack Obama so he can return to DC to work on the economic crisis. He will stop campaigning until a deal is worked out.

While he’s in Washington he should send Sarah Palin out on the stump for him.

Right now he’s sending the signal that he’s more interested in a winning economy than winning an election.

We’ll see if it works.

One Response to McCain Suspends Campaign – Expect a Jump in the Polls

I expect to see vicious comments on the liberal blogs about this just as they did during Gustov. If this were any other politician I would have thoughts that perhaps a genious stroke of strategy would actually help the nation. But this is John McCain and so I must say that a focus on the nation’s wellbeing may possibly help the candidate.

It is exceptionally hard to believe in the concept of honor these days. I believe we may have actually witnessed an example.
