The Obama campaign and the media argue that Obama’s experience running his presidential campaign is enough experience for Americans to hand him the keys to the oval office.
If we take what they tell us at face value, we can assume Obama will handle the federal budget in a fashion similar to how he’s run the budget of his campaign. According to the Wall Street Journal:
Fund-raising reports through July show that the DNC and Sen. Obama have raised about $150 million but spent much of it already; going into August, the campaign reported having $68.5 million on hand. The reports also showed that in July, the campaign was spending at a rate that was faster than donations were coming in.
The Obama campaign declined to comment on its fund raising or spending in August. One major donor said it is likely the campaign has only a small cash cushion at the moment.
Our federal government is spending at a rate faster than it’s bringing in. We would like to change that. Obama will try to increase the revenue coming into the federal budget by hiking taxes, then he (and his co-conspirators in Congress) will spend faster than they can confiscate. Sounds about right.

The difference between Obama and McCain is Obama will spend your money on things you need. McCain will spend your grandchildrens money on wars. That makes all the difference in the world to me. I won’t try and convert you to blue, but I will ask you to remember there are two sides to the value equation,
what you give and what you get.
A few rich guys savings some taxes is hardly a bargain if it means creating horror, failure and turmoil in America and the world.

Eric, I don’t need Barack Obama to take care of my needs! If he has his way I will. Who,sir,do you think creates jobs in America? The government produces nothing! Take Econ 101 and then come back.
