As soon as Charlie Gibson asked his first question of Governor Palin it brought me back to my first job interview with a condescending old man. Knowing I wanted the job and that I would do it well, all I had to do was answer his patronizing questions. Sarah Palin did better with Gibson than I did on that interview.
I have to wonder, did Gibson ask John Edwards if he was ready to, perhaps, become President if his running mate John Kerry dropped dead? Did he ask how his experience chasing ambulances could possibly prepare him to negotiate with foreign leaders? Since when is there an assumption that male one term senators are somehow more qualified than female one term governors?
Gibson didn’t like her answer about energy independence. She’s the only candidate who’s actually done something about the issue. When ABC announced that no topic was off-limits they should have offered clarification. Gibson can ask whatever he wants, but Palin has to give only answers he wants to hear.
Sarah Palin did well and she held her own. The left must be very upset that she didn’t stammer her way through the interview. No doubt they are finding ways to twist her words to make her sound like a bible thumping lunatic war monger. The questions were set up in such a way as to make that possible.

Why the McCain Camp would interview on any of the 3 main networks or the NBC perverted step-child MSNBC is beyond me.

Hell I wish Charles Gibson was as hard on Obama as he was to Palin. She did an excellent job in a hostile interview…compare that to Obama’s interview by Bill O.

Zombie-I think O’Reilly was much easier on Obama.
Pat-ABC just shows their true colors once again. They try to hide it, but they just can’t help themselves.

I think she did well. This is her “second” out of four tests.
1. RNC Speech
2. First Interview
3. Hitting the trail on her own
4. Debate
Gibson came off as a college professor with the “lowered” glasses and his body language.
The editing was bad at times.
On another front, I found thier story on “Troopergate” one-sided and biased (go fig).

Palin’s bogus “Troopergate”

There is a time-line and info.

Monegan admits to the Anchorage press that NO ONE (Gov. Palin, Palin’s husband or Palin’s staff) asked that trooper Wooten be fired.
http://www.adn.com/sarahpalin/story/510080.html
Monegan is a governor appointee and can be fired at any time for any reason (or no reason)
The chief investigator/overseer (Alaska State Senator Hollis French) admitted (before any depositions or investigating) that it will be an “October Surprise”, “damaging to the governor”, and even hinted at possible criminal charges (aka: impeachment).

NOTE: How in the heck can someone (who is intellectually honest) take this investigation seriously when Mr. French has apparently prejudged the case!!! No wonder the Palins, and her staff, are “lawyering up”.
According to Fox News, several top Palin investigators were spotted at
Obama Headquarters (Alaska) on July 30!!!! Can you say “conflict of interest?”
Members of the investigative panel who also support Obama:
Chairman: Sen. Kim Elton, Juneau
Sen. Hollis French, Anchorage
Sen. Bettye Davis, Anchorage
Sen. Lyman Hoffman, Bethel
Rep. David Guttenberg, Fairbanks

Note: Not sure if this link works anymore, (it might had been taken down when word got out) but Mr. French can be seen in the back.
Overall, IMO, they won’t find anything, but will spin it to say she “abused her power”.

Thank you for watching and reporting. I knew I could not without getting seriously agitated. The press has lost so much credibility I doubt I am the only one who will ignore whatever negatives they try to push. She’s an amazing woman, I trust her, I think a lot more of McCain because he picked her. I’m voting during early voting to make sure nothing keeps me from the polls.

I agree…he was VERY condescending which I was suprised about. It was like he thought he was a game show host. He was clearly trying to catch her in something and didn’t even let her finish her answers. She handled it well. Did they ask John Edwards questions this way? As I recall the only experience he had was a trial lawyer for personal injury cases and less than a term as a Senator.

9/12 Just learned this A.M. that ABC edited out parts of her answers that they didn’t want heard. It’s so nice to know that we have such an impartial media. How many investigators do the MSM have in Delaware digging dirt on their boy Biden? Shouldn’t take too long to count them.

Sarah did great on her first interview.
Her answers were clear and well thought out and unwavering.
I watched Obama’s interview on O’Reilly, and he seemed much more
nervous than Sarah did. He stuttered, and stammered and giggled
like a fidgety school boy. And O’Reilly never asked him if he was
“ready” to be the President.
Sarah has a confidence and inner joy that projects outward and encourages
everyone to join in her positive attitude and outlook.
I appreciate her “hard line” on the issue of national security. I believe this is
the most important issue in the campaign. Keep America strong!
I think Sarah just might be the best V.P. America has ever seen!
