My concern is that so many people, such as Jay’s friend and, God bless her, my mom and lots and lots of others still get their news or parts thereof from the OMSM. And they either don’t have the tools or wherewithal to find alternative news.

My concern also is that Obama — being the racial and social and cultural and religious arsonist that he is –, may push the electorate in really destructive ways. In fact, didn’t he recently declare that he will not lose this election? Strangely, when I heard or read that, I had this vision of quite literally, whatever it takes — including physical actions — he and his puppeteers do not intend for him to lose. I do not trust that he and they have the morality to stop at just mud slung orally and in print at Sarah Palin and John McCain and their families.

That also raises concerns about voter fraud, which seems all the more likley, given Obama’s connection to ACORN, which seems to be synonymous with voter fraud.

IMO, the next 30 days or so, whatever the number until the “debates” of the presidential and vice-presidential candidates, are critical.

Given that Palin will maul Biden and given that McCain will do likewise, I would not be surprised to see Biden exit left, wtih some concocted story about his health and then — presto! — HRC to be inserted.

But, then, there is that lawsuit in federal court in Pennsylvania about Obama’s citizenship. It’s possible that the October Surprise this year could be that he’s disqualified.

Lots of possibilities. But for certain: The vicious, malicious hogwash will only intensify toward Gov. Palin.

And everyone must be vigilant to protect her and her running mate, best we can.

In a similar vein, I corresponded today with an old family friend who had taken great offense because of the reports (from the pro-Obama press, of course) that John McCain had chosen Palin as a way to win over Hillary Clinton supporters. My response: When you say, “if he [McCain] thinks women who supported HC will now support him because he has a woman on the ticket, as a woman I feel insulted and belittled,” I am impelled to say that this is no one’s expectation, at least not as a general matter. I was a Sarah Palin fan long before her selection for VP nominee, for reasons having nothing to do with anyone who supported Hillary Clinton. Obviously, the prospect that some HC supporters may support McCain-Palin is _a_ consideration, but it was far from _the_ consideration and – - at least as far as we ardent Palinistas are concerned – - was down at the very bottom of the list. In other words, no pandering intended.

I believe it is vital that we NOT PERMIT the mainstream press to characterize the situation in any way. The pro-Obama press people will do everything they can to damage or destroy Sarah Palin, from outright lies to phony scandals to more subtle poison-pill bits, such as the “sop to the HC ladies” canard.
