Despite all of the latest slimes against Sarah Palin being debunked, the smears continue.
This morning on the View they showed a video of Sarah Palin talking to her church. Whoopie Goldberg and Barbara Walters started lamenting about the separation of church and state, and how worried they would be if Palin were Vice President. Have they ever been to church? Someone may want to tell them that people talk about God in church.
They have absolutely no proof that Governor Palin ever attempted to impose her religious beliefs on the state of Alaska, but that doesn’t matter to them. Palin asked parishioners to pray, be alarmed! Barbara Walters went as far as to question whether Palin would be able to negotiate with other nations that have different religions.
Judge Judy came on and talked about how exciting Sarah Palin is as a candidate, but she was concerned about Sarah Palin “teaching creationism in school”. Palin has said she would like creationism to be part of the debate, but it does not have to be part of school curriculum. I guess none of these women bothered to do their homework.
So what do Democrats do when their smears aren’t working? According to John Fund at the Wall Street Journal:
It’s no surprise, then, that Democrats have airdropped a mini-army of 30 lawyers, investigators and opposition researchers into Anchorage, the state capital Juneau and Mrs. Palin’s hometown of Wasilla to dig into her record and background. My sources report the first wave arrived in Anchorage less than 24 hours after John McCain selected her on August 29.
Too bad they didn’t spend half this much time and energy vetting their own nominee for President. They cannot beat John McCain on the issues so they’ll pull out all the stops in an effort to destroy his running mate.
I saw it too. It is a disgrace. I have watched this show for years and find it disgraceful that Barbara Walters has decided to launch an effort to destroy and demonize Sarah Palin. First she critisized her for working and having children. Then she questioned her experience without even talking about her resume as Governor, Mayor, City Council member, President of Alsaka Association of Mayors, Chair of National Resources Committee for National Governors Association, 83% approval rating, taking on her own party, mother of 5, etc.
Here are the smears that this show has tried to spread without any fact checking:
That she is “under indictment” – completely false
That she cut funding for teen pregnancy programs (she actually increased it by 3 million)
That she is a creationist
That she cut funding for special needs.

Then today she plays an edited tape of Palin asking churchmembers to pray. The way they edited the tape, I didn’t know she was asking them for prayers or that she was in a Church.
This show, The View is quickly losing credibility as they clearly have an agenda to influence the election in favor of Obama. When they had him on the show, 4 of the 5 hosts were so ga ga over him it was embarrassing.
The biggest irony in all of this smearing is that Obama portrayed himself as a “new politician.” With the latest smear campaign to destroy this very accomplished woman, he is proving he is worse than the old politics. He has brought it to a new low.

I don’t watch it, but the other day my mom said I should watch it just so I could hear what they’re saying about Palin. Boy was she right. I don’t believe I heard them say she was in a church. I didn’t mention it, if they said it and I missed it I didn’t want to spread false information.

Their bias is grotesque, but then let’s face it, so is the entire show. Can you imagine how they must have fawned over Bill Clinton when he attended church? It was PROOF of his morality, even if he did go back to the White House and engage in something that was definitely NOT sex with a woman who was half his age and under him, power wise. When the evil Republicans, who wish to prevent the murder of the inconvenient, go to church it is an indication of a theocracy just around the corner.
Obama, now, he is a good church going Christian who completely disagrees with his pastor of 20 years, who also performed his wedding ceremony.
As the polls continue to favor McCain the attacks of the moonbats will only increase. I am looking for a report that Palin’s daughter is actually pregnant from John McCain….or Elvis….or an alien.
