By now everyone has heard that Sarah Palin is (gasp!) a working mother! She wanted her abusive brother-in-law fired, apparently she believes State Troopers should be fine, upstanding citizens. Her 17 year old daughter is pregnant, which I’ve heard happens in the best of families. The Republicans can concede that Governor Palin is human.
What we haven’t heard is that the Governor is friends, or in aquaintence, or had political help from a known terrorist. There is no evidence that she sat in a church for 20 years with a racist and hateful pastor at the pulpit. No shady real estate deals with criminals have come to light. She has not uttered that she is proud of America for the first time in her life.
Governor Palin is not claiming to be God. She cannot walk on water or solve every problem of every American. She cannot change the sea level, nor will she single handedly end poverty in the entire world. Nobody can.

Just the person we need… An outsider to Washington who knows how to be an American. It’s refreshing to see a different generation in the game.
As far as the pregnant daughter goes…You can do your best to raise your kids, give all the love and guidance you can possibly give but in the end they are their own person and ultimately choose their own path.

I agree with Sheldon’s second paragraph. All parents have to go through similar or worse problems. I have no problem with his first paragraph.

I was sitting at my mom’s place this morning up outside Washington DC and my wife, mother and step-dad were sitting around the kitchen table discussing a Washington Post article talking about Palin’s 17-year old unmarried daughter and her decision to keep the baby and marry the farther. Keep in mind that these three are all Obama-rama-maniacs. My step dad reads the line about her deciding to keep the baby and marry the father and my wife says, “Well that’s a recipe for a doomed life.”
A little background on me is due here, I was born 6 days after my mom turned 18. She married my dad 6 months before I was born. They both graduated high school 2 months after I was born. Sounds familiar right?
With my mom sitting right next to my wife she made her “doomed life” comment. So I pipped up with, “Mom seems to have done alright for herself coming out of that situation.”
For about 5 seconds there was a nice moment of shocked silence, before my wife went into the typical Obama-crazed, “you twisted what I said” kind of knee jerk response.
I will admit, if she had said “doomed marriage” I wouldn’t have said anything. My parents marriage did fail eventually. But she said “doomed life,” and I just couldn’t pass it by.

Thank you for sharing your story. Sure, they will struggle, but somehow we all find a way to manage, don’t we!

We all do for sure. And I remembered this morning that what she said was, “That’s a life doomed to failure.” I knew I didn’t have it right when I wrote it last night.

Wow, is Sarah Palin hot or what?! Think about it for a minute, who was the last hot Republican babe? Ann Coulter or Skeletor, take your pick.
She sure has me weak in the knees. Me and my other grey haired buddies are salivating at the thought of seeing her naked, I mean taking over from McCain and responding to a military attack by Putin, Kim Il Sung, or Iran. She is sooo ready to be a hearbeat away from the button.
Everybody is talking about her. That makes her the biggest celebrity in the world right now. She is bigger than Brittany’s little sister (that whore!), Paris, and Obama combined! Just because Obama won a Senate seat and the grueling primaries does not mean he is more qualified than her. SHE IS HHHOOOTTT!!!
