Well, make that two Obama relatives living in poverty. What’s up with this guy? He preaches to the rest of us that we have to take care of the poor, yet his own family members live in slums and he’s a millionaire.
Barack Obama has lived one version of the American Dream that has taken him to the steps of the White House. But a few miles from where the Democratic presidential candidate studied at Harvard, his Kenyan aunt and uncle, immigrants living in modest circumstances in Boston, have a contrasting American story.
Zeituni Onyango, the aunt so affectionately described in Mr Obama’s best-selling memoir Dreams from My Father, lives in a disabled-access flat on a rundown public housing estate in South Boston.
A second relative believed to be the long-lost “Uncle Omar” described in the book was beaten by armed robbers with a “sawed-off rifle” while working in a corner shop in the Dorchester area of the city. He was later evicted from his one-bedroom flat for failing to pay $2,324.20 (£1,488) arrears, according to the Boston Housing Court. Read full story.
Sure, we all have long lost relatives, but we all aren’t advocating for everyone ELSE to take care of our poor, long lost relatives. Barack Obama not only wants us to take care of his relatives living here in the US, but all over the world. (Google “Obama Global Poverty Act”)
I’d like to know, if Barack Obama is so concerned about the ‘poor’ in America, why can’t he spare a couple hundred thousand out of his millions to help his own family purchase adequate housing? This man is a hypocrite.

I’m guessing he’ll take care of them once he gets elected and can use funds from taxpayers to do it.

Can’t he spare a few bucks from the campaign funds? Or at least send back his aunt’s $200 (or so) contribution?

Don’t worry. When Obama takes all your money away, he will be able to take care of his relatives here AND in Kenya.
