Per Obama – $605,000,000 is not enough!

The press is giddy over the news that Barack Obama raised $150 million last month. He raised nearly twice as much in one month as McCain is allowed to spend in three months. In all he’s raised $605,000,000! Sure, he spends it almost as fast as it comes in, but I still found the following e-mail to be quite obscene.

Right now, we have one last chance to strengthen our field operation and expand our reach even further.

This Friday, we’re making the very last, hard decisions about allocating our resources. And it will all come down to where we stand financially on Thursday at midnight.

We need to make decisions about strengthening our efforts in key battleground states — and identify opportunities for expansion.

You can decide where we fight — and how strong our team will be. This was a link begging me to donate money.

I know it’s been a long campaign. And I know you’ve been asked to do a lot.

I hear you.

But right now, I’m asking you to remember what’s at stake for our country.

After 20 months of fighting to bring the change we need, we cannot hold back now. We need to dig deep because what we do — or don’t do — between now and Election Day will make all the difference.

Please make a donation of $5 or more before the deadline to expand the final map of battleground states and strengthen our field operation:

This was another link was to donate.

I’d like to fight for votes in every corner of the country. But the reality is that we need to focus and redouble our efforts for the final push.

Thank you for making sure this campaign has the resources to compete in as many states as possible,

Barack

Wow! Dig deep!?! Haven’t his donors “dug deep” enough? They need more money? $605,000,000 isn’t enough? What does he plan to do – take over the airwaves entirely from now until November? Obama’s campaign can’t get by on $605,000,000 yet he’s asking us to trust him to balance the federal budget. Is this some sort of joke?

    Nope, it’s not a joke!

It is a clear view of what we all have to look forward to if he is elected President and has a Democrat Super Majority:)

I call it: “Return of the Great Depression”

It’s never enough – however much it is. See, his supporters even know that it’s always the money that makes the difference. Forget what’s good for the country, it’s all about the money.

Hey, he has to make enough for more lobster and IRANIAN caviar meals ,you know.
Obama is perhaps the most obscene candidate I have seen in my lifetime. He would be Jimmy “village idiot” Carter’s second term…on steroids.

Well, Obama keeps telling us this is the worst economy since the Great Depression. It’s good cover for him when he really sinks the ship.

I brought up a great point in a post at the ConservativeBadlands.

With bringing in that much money, why can’t he just spread the wealth a little?

Has anybody thought seriously about what the outcome of the election will be? Anybody have any feelings about what will happen? I have a feeling either, 1. A few days before the election all the lawsuits chasing Obama will finally catch up with him, or they’ll find out about his private chats with Iraq and nail him for treason, and he’ll have to step down or 2. He’ll get elected on Nov. 4 in an extremely close election, but all his skeletons will come out of his closet in Nov. or Dec. and he won’t be inaugurated.

DanielS-I’ve thought the same thing. Good grief! How about taking public campaign financing and then raise over $600 million for the poor.

SC-Let’s hope it all comes out before the election!
