This morning on Good Morning America Diane Sawyer spoke to Sam Donaldson about last night’s debate. Donaldson said McCain won the debate and then all but came out and said the election’s over and McCain lost.
The last time I checked my calendar we sitll have almost three weeks to go until election day. The American people have not yet spoken!
If Obama has this election in the bag, why isn’t he leading in the polls by 15 or 20 points? The pollsters have a history of being wrong, which I’m sure Sam Donaldson is quite aware of.
Sam Donaldson isn’t the only one calling this election 3 weeks before election day, his comment just happened to be the first thing I heard this morning about the campaign.
A reminder to the pundits and pollsters and the Obama campaign - You can say Obama won the election all you want, but this election will not be over until the American people actually go out and vote. Sorry to burst your bubble.
