We keep hearing about how the Bradley effect may change the outcome of the presidential campaign. Some believe Americans are just a bunch of secret racists. I’m not buying that. Sure, in a country with 300 million people there are racists. There are a lot of “ists” out there. They probably cancel each other out.
What I haven’t heard much about is the effect the P.U.M.A. voters will have on the election. I happen to be related to a few. I don’t know if they call themselves P.U.M.A.’s, but after the coverage of the Democratic primaries they were disgusted. They were angry at Hillary Clinton’s treatment by the media and the Obama campaign. They started watching Fox News and realized that Fox wasn’t so bad after all. They started hearing the other side and found they’d rather hear both sides of an argument or issue. They are voting for John McCain.
I don’t know how many of these voters are out there, but I do know they are motivated to defeat Barack Obama. They don’t agree with John McCain on everything, but neither do many Republicans. They like Sarah Palin. Recently one of the P.U.M.A.’s posted an open letter to Republicans, telling us not to be defeatist. I get their point, many Republicans and conservatives are acting like this race is over.
I wonder, how many P.U.M.A. voters are out there? Are they lying to pollsters? Will they make the difference in this election?

Do you know what the rest of you are telling pollsters? Do you even get called by pollsters. We have once this election and we hung up. We’re likely voters. What’s that tell you?
Gotta run!

I’m a PUMA and I blog on PUMA sites. There are millions of us out there who are not going to vote for an inexperienced, flip-flopper, with controversial and radical ties. Not to mention his socialist views and visions.
PUMAs see right thru him. We won’t vote for him. Most of us are voting for McCain/Palin. The more I vetted McCain/Palin, the more impressed I am.
PUMAs put country before party. God Bless America next Tuesday, please.

“Mr. Lonely” – I never answered your question about whether I had been polled. I haven’t, but I have been called by the Obama campaign and I told them I was undecided. I didn’t want to tip my hand in case they were keeping a tally.
Today I got a robo call from the McCain campaign about Obama and Ayers. I was hootin’ and hollerin’. Go get ‘em! I am so glad they’re making those calls.
In my town I went to get a McCain lawn sign and they said the first signs they ran out of were the Democrats for McCain/Palin signs. I see McCain signs all over.
I was in Phila, PA this weekend and the Hillary supporters there, too, are voting for McCain.
In my town from Jan thru Aug they said registrations increased 10% for Dems, 4 % for Republicans and 11% for Independents. 4 + ll% = 15% for McCain. I know a lot of Dems who changed to Independents, so most of the 11%, if not all, will vote for McCain.
I think we’ll have a November surprise.

Two former Hillary supporters here who changed our registration to Republican after the miserable way the DNC handled the primary. We would never vote for the lying “Take Public Financing before I decided to Buy the Election”, baby killing, Socialist, Fake Birth Certificate Obama anyway. A third family member remained a Democrat but voted for McCain/Palin as well. We have all already voted and we all voted McCain/Palin.

Take a good look here: http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2008/10/sorry-jim-pumas-are-dead.html
“… Among Democrats, Barack Obama is now winning 88 percent support, comparable to John Kerry in 2004 or Al Gore in 2000. And there are a couple of points’ worth of undecideds left in there, so it’s possible that Obama could scrape up against the 90 percent number on election day.
By contrast, John McCain is winning the support of just 85.3 percent of Republicans, well down from Bush’s 93 percent in 2004 and 91 percent in 2000. There are some undecideds in there as well, so his numbers should improve some, but McCain is likely to underperform Bush by several points. …”

This PUMA from Texas and her husband and three sons have voted for McCain/Palin. Our family is very diversed in political views, but this year we are all voting the same. We also have a large network of friends and associates who are also voting for McCain/Palin. The pollster have not included us (PUMAS) in their number because we want it to be a surprise. We could be the bloc votes that no one is expected. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

I’m a left of center Iifelong Independent who’s out prowling with the PUMAs. There are literally hundreds of PUMA websites and the anti-Obama passion is intense. Most PUMAs on these forums are not just planning on voting for McCain, but are actively campaigning for him, too. A large majority of PUMAs are huge Sarah Palin fans, as well, despite the conventional wisdom. It just may be the PUMAs who provide the big swing in this election . All you Repubs MUST get your partymates out to vote. Obama tactics are hardcore dirty and if we lose this election, it just may be the last free election this country ever holds. The PUMAs are working hard. Here’s your assignment Republicans- GetOutTheVote!

Clinton got more popular votes than Obama did. She whipped his behind even after he was declared the nominee. Now look at these polls. Almost all of them show Obama getting close to 90% of the Democrat vote. Does that make any logical sense?
Obama gets 100% of blacks and most rich white liberals. But I can guarantee you Jews will break at least 30%, perhaps 50% for McCain. I voted for Clinton in February, but will vote for McCain next Tuesday.

This Puma votes McPalin!
We Americans can argue left and right after we get rid of That One. Not that black one but the one that is a front for many others. If he wins I will still stick with Repubs and help you bring him down and he will go down, trust me. My grandparents were conservatives but now are buried in Indiana. So I have deep respect for Republicans. Not Neocons, Republicans.
McCain is a Republican, I have always liked him. If he wins I will be there to monitor him and Palin as behooves a lefty but man Obama and his background scare the crud out of me. It has for the entire race. Look what they have done to my party and yours. Hell you got a women on the ticket now, did hell freeze over? No. I am so voting for that. You just don’t know how cool is that and she kicks butt.
For us women this is a survival issue. 2 female candidates have ben utterly destroyed on the net and in the press. Horrible! It was the feminists who helped or turned a blind eye. In doing so they created a new and better feminism and every one is invited, left or right, burkas what ever. there are no rule right now. This movement will grow because the Libs and Dems and Fems have don nothing, NOTHING for us lately so why should I stick with them.
I was a Dem, I quit after this race and now I am uncommitted. I have kicked kool aid and have a clear head. You can talk to me now, the Bush anger is gone. Exorcised by That One.
I back McCain.

I think it’s time for both parties to make some changes. Get back to core values. The Republicans simply lost their way. The Democrats have been taken over by the hard core far left.
Time to get back to basics and stop this radical.

PUMs are alive and roaring – we have vowed that no way in hell will we be voting for teleprompter jesus – some are voting for McPalin, others for 3rd party candidates, some are leaving prez line blank and others are not voting at all (the latter is, to me, unacceptable – right to vote is a privilege – use it)
I became an Independent on May 31, 2008 and will not be going back to the current Democratic Party – like the pimp says” this is not the party I knew”. PUMAs will still be around on November 5 and making plans on what we will be doing going forward from that date – we probably will not become republicans – ours is a vote AGAINST the pimp – not necessarily a vote for repubs – however, I do admire John McCain for his integrity and love of country – I admire & respect Sarah Palin – she is truly a feminist. Changed my thinking on that aspect completely – the Dems had led all of females by the vagina for so long that we began to think that RvW was the end-all and be-all of the feminist movement – hope she gives good vibes to young girls.
Voting for McPalin on Tuesday………………………….

In the last few days there has been article by Hillbuzz that indicated that Dem support at least in Pennsylvania is more like 65 to 70%, rather than the 88% support often quoted.
I wonder if anyone can answer this question for me, even if it’s an approximation. Is this the kind of difference we can expect next Tuesday? Are Obama’s figures off by 15 to 20%, or even 10 to 15%?
