Three things McCain needs to say in the debate

Tomorrow John McCain will have his third and final debate with Barack Obama. This is his last chance to talk to the American people about his opponent and what he stands for.

Barack Obama gave John McCain a gift when he told the plumber he doesn’t want to punish his success, he just wants to spread the wealth. Joe Wurzelbacher, aka The Plumber, may just turn out to be America’s hero. I can’t wait to hear how Obama will spin that one.

The Politico is reporting that McCain will bring up William Ayers during the debate. Obama will downplay any involvement he had with Ayers, as if launching your political career at the home of a known terrorist is perfectly natural. Like my friend’s seven year old said “I can’t vote for Obama, he’s friends with criminals!”

Finally, McCain needs to ask Barack Obama about his ties to ACORN. They’ve been so active with their fraudulent voter registrations the media hasn’t been able to entirely ignore it. This is a current issue and Obama should have to explain his involvement with ACORN to the American people.

McCain must bypass the media and use the debate as a way to do what the media refuses to do – tell the truth about Barack Obama.

McCain also needs to remind people that the democrats might have a supper majority in congress, and with Obama As the president he will have a blank check of power. I think this will put off a lot of voters for one party to have that much power..

If I were Obama, I would simply respond that I have addressed the issue ad naseum but it is continually brought up by the McCain campaign. I would then repeat everything I have said about it this non-issue. Then, since McCain is bringing up questionable associations and doesn’t want to talk about substantive issues, I would ask him why a supporter of terrorist is a big supporter of his campaign and hosted a 25K a plate fundraiser for him. Carl Lindner, head of Chiquita Group.

McCain should be wary of his glass house.

I think McCain should look right into the camera and ask the American public:
“Why is the media silent about Mr. Obama’s ties to terrorists, shady buisnessmen, Acorn, etc.?”
