Republicans are in a rut. Not only has their message been unclear but they’ve failed to make use of 21st Century technology get their message out and connect and communicate with voters. Michael Steele proposes to change all that.

Michael Steele has embarked on an assertive campaign for the RNC chair, and he’s already giving a taste of what he has in mind for new leadership.  At his new website, Steele offers a way for people to text-message their ideas to the RNC. Read full article at Hot Air.com.

This is the sort of leadership the Republican Party desperately needs. That and also to stop acting like Democrats.

I wonder if the texts will be as ignored as our emails? The RNC has a gaping hole in their credibility that will take some hard to starboard navigation to repair.

That’s why I think we need some new blood at the RNC. They’ve been seen inept.

Well, Lonely, we agree wholeheartedly on two points. The RNC need to use the most modern tech available. And Michael Steele as RNC chair. If you are interested I came across something an interesting little coalition that has started by the likes of Patrick Ruffini, Eric Erickson, of Red State fame, and a few other notable bloggin’ names. It is called http://www.rebuildtheparty.com. Seems they want to be the influential in reshaping the GOP as well as adopting new tech to get the message out. The Right’s answer to the KOS or Moveon if you will. I have been watching their development with some interest.

Critical, funny you should mention that! I sent them an email a few hours ago offering to join the coalition!

Just joined. We need leaders to get us focused on the future now, hopefully this group can do the job. Lot’s of talk about it but I also see a lot of disagreement. We need to get out our message. I know we can win. If we don’t take seats in 2010 we had better prepare for a revolution or a completely different life style.
    Thanks for the link.
