No main stream reporter is willing to break omerta when it comes to questions about Barack Obama’s citizenship and birth certificate. Even Republicans are sticking to the code of silence. It really makes no sense, surely, if a Republican candidate had such an issue hanging over his head it would be on the 24 hour news cycle.
Does anyone remember hearing about Sarah Palin’s passport, or lack thereof? Where in the Constitution does it say the vice president needs to have a valid passport? Oh that’s right, it doesn’t!
The best summary of the whole birth certificate issue was written by Joe the Farmer (another Joe with the audacity to ask a question.) If you have concerns about Obama’s citizenship, you should read Why the Barack Obama Birth Certificate Issue is Legitimate. Simply because Factcheck.org says it’s a non-issue doesn’t make it so. In Hawaii, a person born outside the US can legally have a birth certificate on file with the Department of Health. Without seeing the actual document, it’s impossible to know for sure if he was born in Hawaii.
Which leads to the question, why doesn’t Obama just produce the document? Joe the Farmer can think of three possible explanations.
1. He was not born in Hawaii, and may not be eligible to be President;
2. He was born in Hawaii, but facts that may be derived from his vault copy birth certificate are inconsistent with the life story he has told (and sold);
3. He was born in Hawaii, and his refusal to provide the best evidence that he is a natural born citizen is a means by which to draw criticism of him in order to make him appear to be a “victim.” This would energize his supporters. This would also make other charges about him seem suspect, including his concealment about ties to Bill Ayers and others of some infamy. Such a clever yet distasteful tactic would seem to be a Machiavelli- and Saul-Alinsky-style way to manipulate public opinion. But while this tactic may energize his supporters, it would convince those who believe him to be a manipulator that he’s not only just that, but a real pro at it. This would indeed be the basest reason of all, and would have repercussions about his trustworthiness (both here and abroad), which Americans know, is a characteristic sorely lacking in its leaders.
If only the media would address this issue, Obama might have no choice but to produce his birth certificate. But they won’t, so he won’t.
We’ll have to wait and see what Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has to say on December 5.

Here’s a reason he might not want it released–because it would be a useless distraction that would satisfy a small lunatic fringe while taking attention away from important matters like, I don’t know, the tanking economy, our two wars, our need for alternative energy sources, etc.

There are still bloggers going on about how 9/11 was an inside job. Doesn’t make it an issue. I could go on-line, doctor a photo, and talk about how George W. In fact, why stop there? I’m not sure Sarah Palin is a citizen. BC’s can apparently be forged, per the technical specialist with ties to highly conservative groups and no access to the actual document, but SS numbers can be validated. Why doesn’t Sarah Palin release her SS? If she’s aspiring for the highest office she should be vetted.

And yet I hear no clamor for George W. Bush’s birth certificate. I heard no such clamor for his father’s birth certificate. No such uproar occurred during the Reagan years, or Carter’s, or Nixon’s.
They were “non-issues”. But now, lo and behold, Barack Obama’s birth certificate MUST BE PRODUCED. Why? No one can explain why. No one can explain why he must, and George W. Bush didn’t.
So don’t say “I think anyone aspiring to be President should produce a birth certificate.” Were you demanding G.W.’s back in 2004? No. Were you demanding Mitt Romney’s, Mike Huckabee’s, Sarah Palin’s birth certificates? No. Were you even thinking about this issue when it was Bush vs. Kerry, or Bush vs. Gore, or Clinton vs. Dole, or any election before this one? No.
Only so much logic-bending can be done before one’s line of reasoning snaps completely–and the line of reasoning demanding this BC snapped a long, long time ago. But by all means, distract your party from important affairs and focus their attention on this drivel–it only works against your interests, after all.
Don’t say it’s because people are “suspicious”. Oh, that’s wonderful reasoning. If some lunatic fringe of the Green Party might tomorrow get “suspicious” of Sarah Palin’s, George W. For the BHO II Hawaiian Aug 4 1961 COLB to be accurate the following improbable events needed to occur:
1 month after starting classes, Stanley Ann Dunham, Barack’s mom, at age 17, got pregnant by the only black African man on the entire chain of Hawaiian islands.
2 months after getting pregnant, she drops out of college.
3 months after getting pregnant, she marries BHO Sr.
10 months after her first day at the U of HI, she delivers BHO II and immediately leaves her parents, her new husband, and her home, to fly alone with a newborn 2800 miles to Seattle to start college at the U of W.
Stanley Ann Dunham does not return to Hawaii until AFTER BHO Sr left the islands for Harvard.
This is an implausible series of events made even more nefarious because Obama II in his 2 bio books never mentions his mom left Hawaii when she was married to BHO Sr, nor does he mention she was in Washington State during this time.
Barack’s sister was born in Indonesia, and has a COLB from Hawaii like Obama II. She is NOT a “Natural Born Citizen” of the USA as required by the Constitution to become president…and Obama probably isn’t either.
