I’ve been to Barack Obama’s new Change.gov website which boasts “Open Government”. You can vote on things, just like you can do on this blog. That’s all fine and good, but is that really what “Open Government” means? I thought it meant a government that’s open to and answers questions. Silly me.
Here’s Barack Obama at a news conference. A reporter had the nerve to ask him about Governor Rod Blagojevich.
Barack Obama told him not to waste his question. It’s a good thing that reporter isn’t travelling with Team Obama or he’d be thrown off the plane, or train, or whatever they’re travelling in this week.
It seems Obama isn’t really against “Don’t ask, don’t tell” after all.
