I think Rush nailed it. Powell at least claimed to be a moderate repub for a long time. Then we come to the 2008 election…a very moderate repub vs. the most liberal candidate in history…and somehow (nothing to do with race, of course), powell comes out for the most liberal candidate in history.
It’s just not possible for anyone to harbor any conservative beliefs at all and still pull the lever for the most liberal candidate in history.
if you voted for the most liberal candidate in history, here are the only two possible reasons:
-you’re not a conservative…so don’t bother offering advice to conservatives.
-you are an extremely moderate conservative, but voted for the liberal black guy because you’re a black guy.
