Not only did Ann weigh in on Sarah Palin vs. the media, she also offered Republicans some good advice – don’t ask John McCain for advice on rebuilding the party.

Why does Sara P. keep pretending to wonder why she was news worthy?
McCain picked her especially because she would be controversial. And she lived up to it – bringing her family into the limelight when she didn’t need to, placing herself on the world stage, even though the VP’s role is to be a background player, and finally trying to insist on giving an election night address even though that night has always been the time for the president elect to be in the spotlight…
Of course she got a lot of attention, some of it invasive and no doubt annoying. But that’s what it’s all about.
Is she a whiner? Hell yes. And it proves exactly why she couldn’t have succeeded in the office she luckily didn’t get.
