Well, at least if you live in Florida. I live in England, but I’m still a homeowner in Florida. You remember Florida, one of the states hardest hit by the housing crisis. It’s also one of those states that actually prepares for natural emergencies and doesn’t blame the rest of the country for it’s geographic location. Get ready Florida homeowners cause here it comes again.
What is happening to property taxes in Florida – they’re going up. Just what strapped mortgage payers need to hear. And now State Farm Insurance has given notice that they intend to cease insuring homes in the Sunshine State. There doesn’t seem to be any end to the bad news for homeowners.
It seems to me that there will likely be some new faces in Tallahassee in 2010 if this keep going.
