President Obama’s economic team went right to work today, planning the best way for the government to rescue the US economy. Rather than employing methods that have worked in the past, they prefer to print, borrow and spend billions of dollars. They’re coming up with ingenious ways of doing so. One of the most interesting is the idea of forming a bad bank. That’s an interesting concept, but I wouldn’t recommend making a deposit.
No word yet on whether Barack Obama will go along with the Democrats’ step toward nationalizing the health care system. It’s likely the legislation will pass, with little protest from the new congressional lap dogs, aka the Republicrats.
