But it is not an emergency. It should be handled in regular spending sessions. Not this emergency bill!!! I am so angry that every time our legislators are given a chance, they screw the American people. How dare they put all this junk in a bill that is supposed to create jobs and save our economy. By the way, they're cheating and stealing got us into this mess. I think the bill needs to be published and the people should be able to go line by line and see exactly what they are spending our hard earned money on. Shame on all of Congress. Why didn't I think of that. At least sex education is completely free, right? Because, y'know, education is so equal and all encompassing, from the rural farmlands to the urban cities. EVERYONE knows all the facts about sex. I'm glad we got that out of the way. The reality is, and I'm not saying that that earmarked money is going to be spent correctly, but education about STDs and pregnancy IS important. Telling kids, "Don't do it, unless you're planning on having a kid" -- and thinking that on this one issue everyone will listen -- is the most idealistic stance imaginable. People are going to have sex, and they need education about the repercussions. Again, I don't know enough about that money to say how it's going to be spent, but to imagine a world where the only people sexin' it up are in a loving, committed relationship is, unfortunately, not a reality.
