Random Ramblings on Hopeandchange

Will President Obama’s hubris be his undoing? He seems to be reaching, and may possibly reach just a bit too far. While his calls for bipartisanship have fooled the media and the RINO’s, anyone else with half a brain can see right through it.

Obama’s reply to legitimate questions about the exorbitant stimulus package was a clear sign that he has no intentions of being bipartisan. He’s hyper-partisan and he expects the GOP to just fall in line and not ask questions.

Now he’s calling out Rush Limbaugh. That’s a good way to win over skeptical American conservatives. Rush responded to Byron York, accusing Obama of using him as a distraction and points to rule #13 in Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Rush is right.

It shouldn’t take long for the people to wake up and see exactly what they voted for. Oprah and the media won’t be able to cover it up for long. They’ve set such high expectations for The One, it’ll be impossible for him to measure up. He seems to get this, judging by his boring inauguration speech.

While the Vatican’s response to the first week of Obama’s presidency was icy, it seems that Venezuelan Hugo Chavez is warming up to the Nanny in Chief.  (They do have a lot in common, you know.)

Tax cheat Tim Geithner hasn’t even been confirmed as Treasury secretary, yet he’s already wreaking havoc on the dollar. Let’s hope the Wall Street Journal is wrong in their prediction that “We’re in for an even scarier ride than the Fun Slide of the last few months.”

    Good point, Ted.

Zorro, I’m not all that optimistic.
