The bitter taste of collectivism

I can’t help but feel bad for the folks who had their tickets and schlepped all the way to Washington DC, only to be shut out, left to linger among the masses trying to get a glimpse of the big event. I wonder if this happened to any Hollywood or DC elites.

What these people experienced is but a small taste of collectivism. They are now “one”, part of a giant mass of humanity known as the collective. Today each individual was just one of two million. In such a scenario, the individual and his or her wants and desires are to be set aside for the greater good.

Most of those people probably don’t know it yet, but this is exactly what they voted for.
