20 Responses to John Boehner – Nobody Has Read This Bill!
Daneen on February 13, 2009 at 5:20 pm
…..even if three RINOs defect, just imagine what’s going to happen when people find out what’s in this thing that Republicans did not support. I know it’s already doing a lot of damage—-but there are seats up for reelection next year. They get to own this all to themselves. Nananana.
These people are going to really overreach. Maybe they won’t survive as long as we fear they could.
…”President Obama’s pick for Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner, is being urged to lay the foundation for “global governance” by considering “international taxation” measures to loot more money from U.S. taxpayers.”…
Where the hell is my outrage? in ignored emails protesting the turncoat Republicans since the second year of G DUBs first term. These same outraged Republicans who gave us bigger government, more government and trashed the constitution are asking where’s my outrage. What a show of FARCE, and I spelled it correctly.
AWM – I already know you’re outraged, it’s the lemmings I was talking to;-)
I hate to say this, because the way the R’s spent money was sickening, but can you imagine the spending that would have taken place over the last eight years if the Dems were in charge the whole time? Al Gore and the Kyoto protocol would have killed our economy long ago.
Unfortunately for us, AWM, in this grotesque so called two party system of ours, the Republicans are all we have. We need to weed out the nasty, big spending RINO’s. The RNC needs to find some primary challengers to go up against Spector, Collins and Snowe and give them some big funding.

Touche’ LC! Anger well-placed AWM! But here is what I have to say : We are in the spot we’re in NOT because Republicanism is dead…but because the current RINO’s drank the damned kool-aid and wanted to save their SEATS because they honestly believed that HILLARY was going to be sitting in that chair in the Oval Office (I only give that term capital letters out of respect for predecessors) Then… when the Soros’ team played it’s well thought-out and devious plan: ‘The One’ took that chair (because he was easier to manipulate and easier to sell to uninformed ‘voters’)…and the RINO’s didn’t have a clue what to do!! Well…I say screw them all! READ THE DAMN BILL!!! I have been through about 1/3 of it…and I cannot sleep any longer for fear of my country and the legacy that is coming to my children. Our CONSTITUTION GUARANTEES us the right to STOP this CRAP SANDWICH from becoming the law of the land!! Go read the post on Glen Beck’s interview with Dan Itse (R-NH) you will find there….True Hope, true change, as it was meant to be used. Our local governments can DENY to participate in this rape and this theft, if they are brave enough. Or better yet…if they are more afraid of their actual constituents than of the Pelosi/Reid/Frank machine. How about we all descend on California’s District #8 (Pelosi’s birthplace) and on Reid’s Nevada Voters, and on the disgustingly reprobate 4th Congressional District in MA for CRIMES AGAINST the American PEOPLE for continually allowing these 3 to destroy our country and lead us down the road to Socialism!!!!
We cannot let this 111th Congress pillage this country because they didn’t get what they wanted over the past 8 yrs. We cannot let the Soros’ brigade gain an inch of ground. To ARMS I say!!! To Arms!! When Obambalama says we haven’t a moment to lose… it’s the only TRUE thing he has said yet.
Mary, I was off to bed and then saw your comment. We need to get all of the RINO’s out of the Republican party! Those dopes in San Fran are Kool Aid drinkers, so are the folks in MA. What the hell happened to MA? Isn’t that where American liberty was born. Sam Adams is rolling in his grave.
The last congressman from my district was Jim Walsh. He stuck around for about 20 years. Even after our county and area turned blue he kept getting re-elected. Why? Because our rag of a newspaper kept talking him up because he brought home the bacon. It was a disgrace. Noone to my recollection ever even challenged him in a primary. So we would hold our noses and vote for him because the other guy was always worse. I was happy when he retired, but his replacement is nothing but a left wing hack, Dan Maffei. Bought and paid for by George Soros and Co.
We need to get the RINO’s out of our party!!!! And in the meantime, if anyone can give me some info on relocating to New Hampshire, that would be much appreciated!
Good night!

ANGRY WHITE MAN!! I know you secretly loved it when you watched Boehner drop that thing on the floor with a mighty WHACK. i keep watching it, myself, because I got a kick out of that. It doesn’t matter if RINOs let us down—this is still really dangerous and despicable, and I really want us all to be outraged. Even if we’re ignored. OKAY?! GO! BE ANGRY!

LC… there is no relocating to NH… there is only getting men like Dan Itse to relocate to the rest of the Union!!! Let’s get Rush on board with this notion and perhaps we can come up with a few names that can actually get into the mid-term elections in 2010.
Let’s pull a Soros… without hijacking the US census or hiring Acorn. I am ready to take this to the streets!! I am having a hard time functioning in my job everyday without expressing my opinions. And I cannot tell you how many people are scared to death about what is going on. I had someone tell me today that they heard the HR 1 bill was posted online in a format that could not be accessed by the average American. Well..I stopped what I was doing, and logged onto the internet and typed in “HR 1″ and showed him that it WAS there! Mind you it was 5 or 6 bullets down…but it was there. No wonder Americans aren’t going to read this thing. It doesn’t have a big red flag on it nor flashing lights saying “HERE IS HOW YOU’RE GETTING SCREWED!”
Anyway.. get a good nights sleep. I’m going to pursue this Dan Itse thing as far as I can.
Next we’ll have to watch our backs for the ‘Fairness Doctrine’ slap coming our way.

Partisanship is a crock of crap, issues are what needs to be dealt with. Party line voting is the nemesis of a republic because of the go along to get along attitude.
The Republican Party is NOT conservative, and Conservatives, right leaning Libertarians, and Constitutionalists, waste their votes voting for the lesser of two evils rather than kicking the RNC in the nuts and voting for someone they KNOW will work for the constitution than against it.
As far as are we better of without KYOTO and ALGORE? Look what G DUB did to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and we are STILL facing economic disaster at the hands of a group of people that “know what’s beat for us”
These same people use DISASTERS, CATASTROPHES, POVERTY, AIDS, and any other negative thing they can come up with to SCARE witless idiots into stupid action.
There are four power bases that run this world, ECONOMICS, EDUCATION, GOVERNMENT, and RELIGION. Control these and you control the world. We the people by and large have abdicated our responsibility as free men and now vote for leaders rather than representatives. Those of us who ALREADY have a leader, and want representation are not going to find it in a party.

AWM, thanks for that—I do feel like a deer in the headlights these days. But, maybe, a RABID one that will unexpectedly attack! Grrrr!
I agree with most of what you just said (except the Dubya slam; but I’m not going to go there this morning). I vote for the person I think most closely represents my beliefs and where I beleive the country needs to go. I often disagree with some party talking points, but when you really MUST vote for the lesser of two evils to keep the larger evil away from so much power….well, you vote John McCain. While grimacing. He wasn’t my ideal guy, but Obama should scare the living daylights out of anyone familiar with recent history (1938-1945). I don’t know how we’re going to take our country back–and by that, I mean from people in both parties who believe it is their duty to control every aspect of our lives because we “don’t know or don’t care” about the “better” way to live them. But I am heartened by the fact that many more conservatives woke up to what’s happened and are fired up for CHANGE….3 weeks into this new administration. Perhaps 4 years from now the candidate field will be very, very different.
Sometimes anger is a valuable tool. I–and many people I know–no longer just think about how outraged we are; now we phone, and send letters and emails and respond to editorials in the newspapers. Now we bellow for the world to hear instead of stewing in silence. Now we are all “Mary in TX” (go, girl). I am uneasy about the anger I feel building in the country, but also know that next time we will not be so lethargic about our duty to vote. The RNC did indeed get kicked in the nuts and is scrambling to figure out who they are. Hope that they will remember they are supposed to be champions of individual rights against the herd mentality and will be ready to stand up next time. Hope that “those people” will be unable to cause so much damage that it cannot be undone. The party-line voting that happened this time was on the Dem side; every Dem I personally know who voted for this man is experiencing that sinking feeling that maybe they should have explored the man and forgotten about the party initial after his name.
I’m impressed with Dan Itse’s idea, too. And never think that can’t work. It most certainly could, and that’s a magnificent idea at the moment. And it’s important to share that around to everyone floundering and being angry and having no direction to channel it right now. Revolutions start this way.
Who is your ideal leader? Just curious.
