Charles Gibson interviewed President Obama today and had to start the interview asking about the embarrassment of Tom Daschle’s withdrawal from consideration as the Secretary of Health and Human Services. President Obama said what he’s supposed to say, but he made a little Freudian slip. See if you can find it:

CHARLES GIBSON: Mr. President, has this been an embarrassing day for the administration?

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Well, I think it has. I mean, I think that any time one of your nominees pulls out, that’s an issue. Okay, so I gave you a little hint. He thought Tom Daschle would have been perfect to “shephard through” a healthcare bill.

That’s right……President Barack Obama thinks we’re the sheep!
