This morning White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was on Fox and Friends and said he didn’t want to play the blame game. He went on to play the blame game with a little bit of class warfare sprinkled in. He was talking about President Obama’s proposed tax increases on the wealthy and said that the previous administration cut taxes for the rich which really isn’t fair. So pretty much, his boss is just returning us to fairness by confiscating more of other people’s money.
Speaking of money, my husband called and we were laughing about how much money we’ve lost in our 401k accounts (may as well laugh, crying doesn’t help.) We realized that if we had simply cashed out those accounts, paid the taxes and penalties and stuffed the money under our mattress we’d be better off.
Tonight The One will AGAIN address us, his subjects. Let’s hope the stock market has a nice bounce today because it’s sure to tank again tomorrow.
