I voted Mitt, too. I think the RNC badly miscalculated when they "asked" Romney & Huckabee to step aside for McCain. It's anecdotal, but I hear a lot of people who didn't BOTHER to vote say that if it had been Romney, they would have--they just couldn't get behind McCain. I really put it on Huckabee for not bowing out, and have to wonder where we would be had it been Romney v Obama. My anecdotal observations on other things have proven true over time, so I just wonder....sigh. Meanwhile, we can hope he stays away from those bad, nasty people! We need representation which has a vision and sticks with it. Even if they are wrong, at least the people can understand the outcome. Conservative values need to be represented, constitutional values need to be represented. One can not LEAD a value. The first problem I see is the threat of cutting off all federal funds. I doubt the NH government, or any state government, has the stones required to enact any move to be removed from the sugar tit of Big Brother.
