President Obama held his “fiscal responsibility summit” today. Hey, at least he stayed in Washington, for a change. But really, what a joke. Fiscal responsibility! Ha! That’s a good one.
It’s like me telling my husband “Honey, I just ran up $100,000 in credit card debt. I really only bought things we need and everything was on sale. But now I must talk to you about financial responsibility.” After I woke him up with smelling salts he’d probably have me locked up, and I wouldn’t blame him.
Stephen Moore was on with Neil Cavuto and noticed that no pro-growth economic policies were discussed. No suprise there. The big, fat, blatant lie by The One was only a bit surprising. He said that Republicans only disagreed with 15% of the porkulus bill. Anyone with a radio, television or internet connection knows the truth about that whopper.
Apparently, the market wasn’t impressed with The One’s summit either, as the Dow and S&P 500 dropped to 1997 levels. Gee, I can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring.

Yeah, I love it that a man who just signed a trillion dollar stimulus bill is now preaching about fiscal responsibility. Does he think we’re all morons?
