President Obama and Congress seem to think they’re living in the Land of Make Believe.
The UN is reporting that Iran now has enough uranium for a nuclear bomb. Has the new administration commented on this news? President Obama spent part of the day yesterday eating tuna and buying cookies in Canada, where he’s adored by the masses. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s been tied up waving sticks and carrots at North Korea.
Iran’s economy is dependent on oil, so the drop in oil prices hurts them. But it’s doubtful oil prices will stay low for long. Common sense would tell us to produce our own oil and stop transferring our hard earned money to states like Iran and Venezuela that are intent on our destruction. Instead, we’re pumping countless taxpayer dollars into new green technology which can’t survive without government subsidies, and will kill more jobs than it creates. Energy Secretary Steven Chu even admitted he has no idea what to tell OPEC when they meet to talk about cutting production. He’s too busy focusing on subsidizing really expensive energy production.
When it comes to the economy, everything The One and Congress are doing now has already been tried and failed. Instead of learning from those failures, they have decided to just put those “failed policies” on steroids and see if that helps. The Dow is now at a six year low. Most Americans who have saved responsibly in their 401k and IRA accounts have lost a big chunk of their savings. So The One announced they now get to bail out losers who didn’t make their mortgage payments. In response the stock market plunged a little lower. What can you expect when the administration doesn’t have any corporate talent on board. You can expect to work until you’re about 82 years old. (If you make it that long, with the new plans for health care that’s doutbful.)
The One, his administration and Congress seem to believe they’re living in a fairy tale. The disconnect from reality is alarming. What’s it going to take to wake them up?

On-the-job training needs to have supervisors. That implies that someone helping those learning has proven experience at the job. I cannot imagine a brain surgeon being allowed to operate without first having had training and supervision by a very experienced trainer.
We have the political equivalent of the “three stooges” running our government. Apologies to Larry, Curly and Moe.

From an anonymous source;
…”Memo to Staff:
As the Owner of a business that employees 140 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our President, and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way.
To compensate for these increases, I figure that the customers will have to see an increase in our fees to them of about 8%.
Since we cannot increase our fees right now due to the dismal state of our economy, we will have to lay off eight of our employees instead.
This has really been eating at me for a while, as we believe we are family here and I didn’t know how to choose who will have to go.
So, this is what I did. I strolled thru our parking lot and found eight Obama bumper stickers on our employees’ cars and have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off. I can’t think of a more fair way to approach this problem. These folks wanted change; so I gave it to them.”…

North Korea is on the verge of insanity; Iran is running a very close second; Pakistan & the hunt for Osama Bin Laden is a complete disaster. As of lately, all we can get from “change you can believe in” is how talented he is on ‘zapping’ a fly! Why wasn’t the fly’s Miranda Rights’ read to it before it got ‘zapped’? C’mon PETA, you’ve got a ‘gold mine’ here!
Oh and to Angrywhiteman, it would appear you handled your dilemma with democratic elegance…enough said!
