From reader Jose from Massepequa:
This is not your father’s country anymore: Does anyone else remember the days when if you wanted something you actually saved for it?
From reader Charles M:
Newsome sneaking around and sipping out of a bottle?: This is another example of liberals “It’s good for me but not for thee” hypocrisy.
Obama Promises Bipartisan Action on Deficits: I’m not suggesting you read this because I believe the headline. Oh heck, I’ll save you some time: “Lawrence Summers, head of the National Economic Council, fell asleep on the podium…”
A Fatal Trajectory: If only members of the Obama Administration had half the wisom of Thomas Sowell maybe we wouldn’t need to be praying for a miracle right now.
In Obama We Trust: Well, not so much.
Post-Post-9/11 Looks Just Like Pre-World War II: If only members of Team O (or most Americans, for that matter) were taught history without revision maybe we wouldn’t need to be praying for a miracle right now.

So in wandering around those links, I see on CNN:
“A national poll indicates most Americans think President Obama will give a good speech tonight in his address to a joint session of Congress, but expectations are not as high as they were for his inaugural address.”
And I’m sure he WILL–he’ll get Ted Sorenson’s input this time, and it will be JFK-inspiring all over the place. And all these sheep care about is how he sounds when he gives a speech. Same sheep who can’t see that he’s been running around talking trash to steer them in the direction he wants them to go…and now will stroke their little heads to make them feel better about being raped and pillaged. What a pathetic place we are in now. BLECH!

I just read on Politico that Robert Gibbs says the speech will be ‘Reaganesque’. I’m so sick of him comparing himself to past presidents. He ought to be comparing himself to Carter, if anyone. Hope and Change is gone, now it’s doom and gloom. Depressing, just like Carter was.
