Does it Matter What Other Countries Think of Us?
BySome pundit just said it matters what other countries think of us. That’s funny. They don’t think much of us lately. We were told the world would like us better once we elected Barack Hussein Obama. Well, how did that work out?
It doesn’t matter whether or not other nation’s like us. What matters is that they respect us. From the way things are going, nobody respects us anymore. The latest is news that North Korea plans to launch a missile.
I searched and wasn’t able to find a statement from President Obama. I did find this from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
“We have made it very clear that the North Koreans pursue this pathway at a cost and with consequences to the six-party talks which we would like to see revived and moving forward as quickly as possible,” she told reporters on a visit to Mexico City.
“This provocative action … will not go unnoticed and there will be consequences,” she said.
Consequences to the six-party talks! Way to play hard ball! I don’t know if the North Koreans are scared, but I know I am.
