Global Warming Alarmist Encourages ‘Civil Disobedience’ During Frigid Protest

There’s nothing more annoying than global warming alarmists, except global warming alarmists protesting global warming when it’s really cold out. It’s bitter cold and I haven’t stopped shivering in days. So naturally I’m especially peeved not only that my tax dollars go to pay the salary of NASA’s Dr. James Hansen, but that he’s encouraging protesters to break the law.

In a video on capitolclimateaction.org, Dr. James Hansen is seen urging Americans to “take a stand on global warming” during the March 2 protest at the Capitol Power Plant in Southeast Washington, D.C.

“We need to send a message to Congress and the president that we want them to take the actions that are needed to preserve climate for young people and future generations and all life on the planet,” says Hansen, who has likened coal-fired power plants to “factories of death” and claims he was muzzled by the Bush administration when he warned of drastic climate changes.

“What has become clear from the science is that we cannot burn all of the fossil fuels without creating a very different planet. The only practical way to solve the problem is to phase out the biggest source of carbon — and that’s coal.”

And why do these loons schedule their little protests in winter? Wouldn’t they be more believable if they protested in the summer when a major winter storm is unlikely? Who knows, maybe the heavy snowfall will put a damper on their plans. I suggest they use windmills and solar panels to keep warm.

Wait, here’s a novel idea! Let’s invest in more nuclear plants! Don’t the liberals love France? Why aren’t they on board to be more like France when it comes to energy production? That’s simple, whether it’s the economy or energy, the left wants nothing more than to recycle failed procedures while dismissing what works.

I’m with you. Every global warming blurb I see on the news/Internet, when I haven’t been warm in months, irritates me to no end. I just find myself talking to the TV saying, “I wish you were right. If you were, I’d be outside everyday spraying an aerosol can into the air to help global warming along.”

I keep hoping that the 10 minutes I take every morning to warm up my car will add to global warming. So far it hasn’t worked out. Brrrrr.

In the 25 years that I’ve lived in Florida, this has been the coldest winter ever. This guy hansen is a phony. His job is not supposed to be a political one. Maybe NASA should be shut down. It has obviously lost sight of it’s mission since this charlatan took over.

I heard on the noon news that the wind chill here is around 0. It keeps getting colder, not warmer.

The chancellor of science and technology said at the global warming summit in Brussels, “Everybody knows there is no man-made global warming but it doesn’t pay to say so.” 650 scientists who care more for real science than profitable politics stood up and agreed.
