Good News! Specter Will Oppose Card Check

Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter confirmed that he will oppose card check legislation, according to Americans for Tax Reform. (Via Hot Air)

Senator Specter’s Office has confirmed to ATR that he will vote against both cloture and passage on the Employee Free Choice Act (also known as “card check” or the employee NO choice act). His vote is critical and this a major victory for freedom, as well as a stunning defeat for the other side.

With Specter you never know if he’s doing this because it’s the right thing to do, or just a political move. Either way, we need all the good news we can get.
