How to Contact Senator Kirsten Gillibrand – Updated with Email Address

March 8, 2009
By 44 comments

I found Senator Kirsten Gillibrand’s Senate page, but there’s still no email address posted. I hope they aren’t having White House staffers set it up or it could be months before her constituents can send her an email.

I’ve sent emails in the past to Senator Schumer but never received a reply. Hillary Clinton’s office would send a generic reply weeks after my email was sent. Let’s hope Senator Gillibrand is different. Her phone number is 202-224-4451, at least that’s what her web page tells us. I’ll keep checking back and post her email address when I find it.

There may be hope with Senator Gillibrand. I heard Nancy Pelosi doesn’t like her and a lot of lefties were horrified when Governor Paterson picked her. It’s too early to tell, but she has a lot more in common with people in my area than any NY Senator since I’ve lived here.

There’s no Republican in the Senate representing New Yorkers, and very few in the House. Kirsten Gillibrand may be the closest thing we conservatives have to someone who represents our interests. That’s why it’s important we let her know how we feel. I’ll be contacting her office and begging her to vote against the economic socialism stimulus package in the Senate.

If she’s as conservative as they say she is maybe I’ll even vote for her in 2010, or at least send her a contribution for the Democratic primary. What’s the worst that can happen? A conservative Democrat running against a liberal Republican?

Update 2/6/09: There is still no email address for Senator Gillibrand. I’ve been trying to call her office but the line has been busy. I did get through to Senator Schumer’s office and left a message. Senator Schumer can be reached at 202-224-6542. You can click here for his contact page if you would like to send him an email.

Update 2/7/09: Many thanks to reader Bruce who found another contact web page for Senator Gillibrand. The email address listed for the senator is finance@kirstengillibrand.com.

Update 3/8/09: The newspaper this morning reported that Senator Gillibrand’s staff has a temporary email address: Gillibrand@gillibrand.senate.gov. She also has a temporary web address: www.gillibrand.senate.gov. It’s too late for the porkulus bill (you can let her know what you think of her vote) but the omnibus bill is coming up.

To Senator Gillabrand, and anyone else who will listen -

819 billion in SPENDING will by NO means fire up the economy.

Job creation comes from small companies and entrepreneurs: DROP THE CAPITAL GAINS TAX AND REDUCE ALL OTHER TAXES. DROP INCOME TAX AND GO TO A CONSUMPTION TAX. These can all be done quickly, and will STIMULATE the economy.

Check out this article above to learn how Kirsten Gillibrand has suddenly decided to support illegal aliens. She is being threatened by Long Island Democrats. I guess I will be looking to vote for the Republican challenger in two years.

Hi Eilleen, I wrote about that earlier today. If you clike “The Lonely Conservative” at the top of the page it will take you to the home page to see the latest posts.

I was afraid she would lurch to the left. I guess it won’t take long until she does the same on the stimulus plan and guns.

I’m a NYC resident, registered Democrat and NRA member. I hope Senator Gillibrand doesn’t bow to gun grabbers like Schumer and sticks to her “guns”. Although a member of the NRA, I can’t own a gun in NYC without wading through miles of red tape and mountains of paperwork. Even if someone does get a permit to have a handgun in their home, the “common sense restrictions” democrats have imposed would make it almost impossible to defend yourself in the event of a home invasion style break-in. I’m dying to bring this to Senator Gillibrand’s attention. If anyone knows of an email address for her, I’d love to find out about it.

    Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand
    Democrat – New York

    531 DIRKSEN SENATE OFFICE BUILDING
    WASHINGTON DC 20510
    DC Phone: 202-224-4451

Call her and tell her to quit sucking up to the illegal advocates, and get TOUGH on illegal immigration. She is showing her true colors by now turning her back on fighting deportations, and so called “breaking up familes,” as she is a mother herself. What a crock of s**t! If these illegals took their illegal children with them, they wouldn’t be breaking up the familes. Goes to show the third world mentality that we do NOT want or need in this country! CALL HER AND GIVE HER YOUR MIND!

Deport the damn illegal immigrants and save the billions in revenue spent on them each year; not to mention the 12 million jobs that will open up for AMERICANS! You might even be able to reduce our taxes! What a thought!

Stop supporting bank and auto manufacturing executives with tax payers money! All you’re doing is providing loans for people with no jobs!

Stop the out sourcing of AMERICAN jobs! Impose a fine on all AMERICAN corporations that out source! That will raise revenue for the government and ease the burdon on the tax payer!

Stop reaching into our pockets to support your liberal views! if you believe in liberalisam so strongly, reach into your own damn pocket and pay for it!

Dear Mr. President (Pres. Obama) February 4, 2009

It is “transparent” that the same “Stringent Guidelines” that existed in the vetting process of Hillary R. Clinton and Tim Geithner (both Democrats) are not the same for Republicans. Why the “Double Standards”/discriminating process???? Hillary Clinton and Tim Geithner must go bye bye……

Perhaps, it is in the best interest for the Republicans not to serve in an all Democratic Administration. The Republicans have been the “scapegoat” and the blunt for the Double Standards of the Democrats for far too long now. The Democrats have “cast dispersions” and made negative conclusions and allegations toward the Republicans…that is why the issues that plague this Nation were all pre-mediation of the Democratic Party…the Clinton Presidency….

In my opinion, you seek to blame Republicans, or cast negative dispersions for “screw-ups” by Democrats; by seeking a scapegoat when invoking “bi-partisanship” and “guilt” Republicans into “high risks” positions. Then the Democrats force “embarrassment” upon any Republicans that will not indulge in your problematic Administration. It all became clear/transparent when two of your “picks” withdrawn their names. This is very hypocritical of you, Mr. President. Since, the Democrats won the Presidency; they should “stew” in their own messy creations. Leave the Republicans out of your problem riddle Administration.

Sen. Judd Gregg should also drop out from your process…Sen. Gregg is being ‘set-up’ for a great fall by the Democrats. The Commerce Dept. and HHR Dept…made rules to have Doctors in NYS kill off babies in the womb of pregnant women…these individuals took matters into their own hands and decided to “reduce” an all ready “overpopulated” New York State without the consent of the Father or Mother. This was all done under Hillary Clinton, DEMOCRAT, when she was Senator of NYS. This mess in NYS will not fall upon any Republican by the “responsibilities” and “accountabilities” of the Democrats.

Mr. President, it is transparent whenever you invoke “bi-partisan” you are “bullying” Republicans into pre-mediated wrong doings. Please refrain from wanting the Republicans as your scapegoat. Besides, you have already planned and pre-mediated the struggles/hardship/water boarding for Americans to be out of poverty as a long and dragged out process, for the many Republicans without jobs….or who does not share in your views. It was simple for signing an Executive order to end hardship/water boarding for GITMO prisoners but it has become transparent to have an all “knock-out”, dragged-out fight to end the hardship/water boarding for the American People; by introducing another idiotic stimulus plan . Why????

Mr. President the survival NEEDS for Citizens is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for the rest of their natural lives….NO Americans want to be without life’s amenities for a single day of their lives…because the Democrats seek “power” and “CHANGE” and want Citizens to “sacrifice” for such “power” and “CHANGE”. So glad someone else is out there feels the same as me. I have called Sen. Gillibrand’s office. Usually, a busy signal. However, I did get through once and told the assistant that I hoped Sen. Gillibrand would oppose this out of control spending bill, and not let Chuckie Schumer steamroll her. The assistant was pretty much uninterested. I sensed that maybe it was a Hillary staffer that got left over to handle the new senators issues. I sincerely hope that we will not go down this socialistic road. I don’t want my kids paying the Chinese for this rediculous spending spree brought on by the Democrat party.

The following was sent to me by Rep. John Hall:
“The stimulus package includes strict provisions to help guarantee that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely. The plan contains no earmarks, and all the projects it funds will be thoroughly vetted. A special website will be created to outline how all of the funds are spent, including a description of the project and the names of the program managers so the public knows who should be held accountable.

The Senate is expected to vote on their version of the recovery package soon. As both Houses of Congress work together on a final stimulus package, I will be sure to keep your thoughts in mind.”

What a joke! Another example of legislative veracity.

Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand please help President Obama and STOP this bill! The issue is not President Obama vs. Rush, or Beck, or Hannity, or Martin Felstein! It’s a President Obama vs Candidate Obama issue.

    a. Candidate Obama campaigned against “earmarks” and this bill looks like “earmarks” on steroids!

    b. Candidate Obama campaigned on bi-partisanship. Shouldn’t conservative (Blue Dog) ideas on serious tax relief be incorporated into any plan to “stimulate” this economy?

    c. Candidate Obama who ran to the left of Hillary Clinton and to the right of John McCain should be able to run interference for bi-partisanship. Since neither Nancy Pelosi nor Harry Reid will support any bi-partisan approach to ending the recession, for the sake of our President, if not in the best interest of our country, stop the waste. Many of us believed that President Obama was more likely to cut taxes than Senator McCain.

    d. President Obama’s cabinet choices appear to be “defensive” on the issue of individual tax burden. Leading Democrats like Senator Chris Dodd have gotten 30 year fixed mortgage loans at 4.25% with no points. Shouldn’t President Obama’s promote likewise initiatives for all US citizens/taxpayers?

    e. President Obama’s Chief-of-Staff does not want this catastrophic threat (opportunity) to be resolved without putting the US onto a path towards socialism. However, beyond the chronically unemployed (5%), Americans want jobs – not more food stamps, not more subsidized housing, and not more welfare payments. So let’s concentrate on job creation via growth of US business.

    f. President Obama’s indebtedness for union support should not lead to Union Bailouts – please do not “enable” them without further reform. American workers need to be free of union retardation especially in non-profit environment such as schools, federal, state & local government. Civil Service benefit packages (which would bankrupt for-profit business) will result in soaring tax increases.

    g. President Obama proclaimed there is no “war on terror”, so please bring our troops home from Afghanistan! Don’t you agree that all the arguments to retreat in Iraq are multiplied with respect to Afghanistan? Savings should be used to upgrade our defense readiness.

    h. President Obama needs to beware of the Stimulus Trap! He told Europe that the US could no longer exploit the rest of the world. How do we reconcile borrowing $2 trillion from Asia to improve roads, schools, swimming pools, etc while 90% of the world’s population goes without? Why should the world lend us money to drop the US unemployment rate below that of UK, France, Asia or Africa’s?

The only fair response to this crisis is to lower the tax burden on business and individuals!

I’m talking to your friends and our neighbors. We’re forwarding this email because we’re all in this together. Please help President Obama save our economy!

    Senator Gillibrand,

I first wrote asking Senator Clinton to vote “no” on the original TARP. This new bill, in any form I have heard, is worse. I suggest letting the market recollect itself, by itself. I understand that you want to do something. I believe that we have learned from history (Hoover/Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford/Carter) that doing drastic stuff is the same as doing harm. Please leave things alone. We are smart enough, and talented enough, to get the economy running with our INDIVIDUAL contributions.

And we do need your e-mail address, soon.

    Respectfully,

If you call her number, the voice mail is full – I am calling to object to the Coburn Amendment That Prohibits Funding for Community Parks exlucsions include:
No funds provided by this Act may be used for any casino or other gambling establishment, aquarium, zoo, golf course, swimming pool, stadium, community park, museum, theater, arts center, or highway beautification project, including renovation, remodeling, construction, salaries, furniture, zero-gravity chairs, big screen televisions, beautification, rotating pastel lights, and dry heat saunas.”

There are a lot of positive community facilities listed here and many of them are in disrepair or outdated…improving them would increase local taxpayer use and in some cases draw out of towners to visit and create tax revenue…a Joke!

Is she out of her mind? Voting to FUND an organization that aids illegal activity?? As a public servant, Ms Gillibrand has an OBLIGATION to protect taxpayer money from corruption. When the story broke that she was one of 7 US senators that voted to continue to fund ACORN, she lost my vote, and I would bet she lost millions more. A stunt like that will undoubtedly ruin her political career, one that, as you may know got a jump start when she was appointed our senator, and NOT elected by the people of NY state in the first place. This type of behavior is certainly NOT going to be tolerated by New Yorkers and will certainly NOT score her points for any re-election! VOTE GILLIBRAND OUT IN 2010! She voted to fund ACORN, an organization that supports child prostitution via illegal human trafficing, supports illegal immigration, and corruption, all through YOUR taxes! This is an outrage and Ms Gillibrand must go! End her career by voting her OUT! She is NOT our friend. She is an enemy of freedom and is not interested in protecting children. Quite the contrary, Ms Gillibrand is an enemy of children, as she is in favor of spending your tax money on corrupt organizations who force innocent children into underage prostitution. Wonder if she would like HER daughters to take part?
