Michele Bachmann isn’t afraid to stand up to the Democrats and say what she believes. She’s called herself a “keeper of the flame” and she’s come out against President Obama and the Democrats’ agenda. Over the weekend she appeared on a radio show in her home state of Minnesota.
“I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us ‘having a revolution every now and then is a good thing,’ and the people – we the people – are going to have to fight back hard if we’re not going to lose our country. And I think this has the potential of changing the dynamic of freedom forever in the United States.”
And when it comes to HR 1586 and taxing bonuses she said “I have never seen a bigger CYA bill in my life.”

Does “keeping the flame” include calling for armed insurrection against a constitutionally elected government? Hmmm, there’s a technical word for that. What is it again> Oh, yeah, treason.

She’s come out and said she’s calling for a peaceful revolution and she didn’t intend to be taken literally. I’ve heard a heck of a lot worse from the other side. Like when they called for the death of a certain president. I’m sure you were outraged over that.
