Has the individual been kicked to the curb once and for all? Have the collecticists finally won?
I believe that as long as rugged individuals exist the collectivists will fail. They may make things more difficult for us, but I truly believe we will prevail in the long run. What do you think?

‘This is a serious slap by Barack Obama at the French people. It does not matter if someone voted for Mr. Sarkozy or not. It matters that the French Republic has just had it’s free elections which free Frenchmen have died for has just been negated by B. H. Obama.
What B.H. has just done is worse than the humiliation he just heaped upon British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, his wife and their 2 children. Obama just negated the French elections by telling a person with no more power than Jimmy Carter he is going to be working with him.
Chirac is an old Citizen of France and that is it.
This is what is the breach in Obama has now antagonized the three most important allies America has in England, France and the Israeli state.
These actions are deliberate by Mr. Obama to break the western alliance and supplant it with the central Europeans who started Obama’s original Marxist dogma which he laps upon.
This is why I’m not so amused at this as this is not Obama being clueless, but Obama being deliberated. It is going to have horrendous terms for America and the rest of the world.’

A H.T. to Jeanniejo on the comment. Obama is not clueless! He has an agenda and he is working it while at the same time orchastrating diversions for the American public to feast upon such as the A.I.G. bonuses. Now that he has successfully alienated our three most important allies, (that’s about all we have), he will now turn our Nation into a Marxist / Fascist quasi socialist government.
Have no fear, however as I have learned that the entire stock of ammunition in three states has sold out over the last three weeks in Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Do you think that Americans are afraid and are buying up ammunition to defend themselves? You bet they are! And not just to protect themselves but to deliver our nation from tyranny. Our Congressmen better wake up before they find themselves in a war a bit closer to home.

Jeanniejo, I guess the fact that he sent the letter implies that Chirac has recovered after that vicious depressed-poodle attack–whew! After the initial report, there was no news on how he was doing. I’m hoping that poodle wants to emigrate, we’ll take him in Nevada. You bet! Give him to Harry Reid for his birthday….
There is an office of protocol in the White House. Not all of those people are new; most of them are administration-neutral. Their job is to be certain that the United States (not a particular president or party) does not humiliate itself with some obvious faux pas. (see my French langauge?)
This person masquerading as President of the United States knows exactly what he is doing with each and every breach of protocol; I’m certain he has been advised against these things by the Office of Protocol. He/They don’t care.
It should worry EVERYONE that we don’t really know who is our “President”. It’s not Obama; he’s just the “clean face” (see my Mob langauge?). The really scary thing is that Obama & team are so blatant in everything they do and want to do–and most of America just doesn’t care.
When I was a kid, I worried about being conquered by Soviet/Chinese troops–I never thought we’d be conquered by apathy.
