Three Cheers for Angela Merkel!

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has spent the last few weeks globe trotting, trying to sell his plan for a ‘Global New Deal’. German Chancellor Angela Merkel says “No deal!”

GORDON BROWN’S carefully laid plans for a G20 deal on worldwide tax cuts have been scuppered by an eve-of-summit ambush by European leaders.

Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, last night led the assault on the prime minister’s “global new deal” for a $2 trillion-plus fiscal stimulus to end the recession.

“I will not let anyone tell me that we must spend more money,” she said.

Good for her! If only the politicians in America had that much sense.

Congratulations, drkate — thumbs up to you, girl

THE TROJAN HORSE HAS COME TO WASHINGTON
    IT IS THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION

From Now On, WE THE PEOPLE Will Be Writing The Press Releases. The Second American Revolution Has Begun!

‘What follows is an article, no actually, a dream thread that was posted over at Texas Darlin. It has generated a great many comments. People are sick and tired of what is going on in our nation’s capital. The shine is off Dear Leader’s star and people are fed up with the corruption of our lawmakers and this Administration’s flagrant disregard for We The People.

From now on, we’re writing the press releases. And taking all the names, titles, and language back that have been used against us. The Second American Revolution has begun. This is your dream thread in helping to design the most effective mass demonstration in the history of the United States. Yes, we will need money, but let’s not think about that now. How do we pull all of our efforts together?

    Thank you in advance!’

Since I know that Obama will not say it at the meeting, I am offering my suggestion to Angela Merkel, OR ANY OTHER international spokesperson, to stand up and shout at the G20 Summit:

“Neither a Borrower nor a Lender Be!” Benjamin Franklin

It’ time for the world to figure out that failure only comes to countries who do not espouse this phhilosophy.

Cash is King! Not Obama. Live within your means, for God’s sake.

Angela Merkle is my new hero for her common sense stance on saying NO to any new stimulus plans. I wonder if we can get a temporary waiver for the requirement of being a natural born American Citizen to run for president. Wait, some people say you don’t even need a waiver. . . .;-)

Isn’t it funny, Europe is finally starting to catch on when it comes to big spending and high taxes. Obama should listen to them on this, as they’re the ones he wanted to emulate.

To ZORRO: I challenge you to show me where you got your information that Dave Ramsey supported Obama in 2008. I do not think you can, or will. Please prove me wrong, otherwise ethics requires you to post a recant of your comment.
