The news sure is gloomy these days. I wish I could give you some good news - like that Barack Obama had an epiphany and has suddenly embraced supply-side economics and the principles of the founding of our republic. But I can’t, so here’s what’s really happening.
A physician claims to be making great strides in human cloning. All I can say is: Please God, do not let them clone Barack Obama.
The director of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, is so stupid she actually suggested that the 9/11 hijackers came through Canada. Way to go, Janet! Piss off one of the few allies the president hasn’t already pissed off. Sweet.
It looks like President Obama’s world wide apology tour isn’t working out quite the way he planned. Both Fidel Castro and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had harsh words for the naive leader of the free world. Pehaps he can make a few more media appearances on outlets such as Al Jazeera and Cubavision to shore up his support among the dictators of the world.
Despite the fact that many democrats in Congress enthusiastically approved of waterboarding, they’re now ready to move full steam ahead on investigations of the Bush administration for doing what was necessary to prevent further attacks after 9/11.
Sorry folks, that’s all the news I can stomach for now.
