Glenn Beck’s producer broke one of those new “green” light bulbs on his show today. You know, those light bulbs that the dim bulbs in Congress have mandated we all use. Not only will we import these light bulbs from China (putting Americans out of work), heaven help you if you break one of them. This is ludicrous. This clip doesn’t show the end, where once the remains of the lighbulb are sealed in a glass jar it has to be driven to a recycling center in a carbon emitting vehicle. Brilliant!

Peeps will dispose of these like everything else. They will throw it in the trash.

Those things put out lousy light too. I’ve tried a bunch in my photo studio for some DIY lighting. The light is not nearly as pleasing as incandescent bulbs.
I do have to say, though. I like the 300 watt equivalent I’m using in my garage. It’s nice and bright.
