First I read this and wondered what the heck is wrong with my fellow Americans.
For the first time in years, more Americans than not say the country is headed in the right direction, a sign that Barack Obama has used the first 100 days of his presidency to lift the public’s mood and inspire hopes for a brighter future.
Intensely worried about their personal finances and medical expenses, Americans nonetheless appear realistic about the time Obama might need to turn things around, according to an Associated Press-GfK poll. It shows most Americans consider their new president to be a strong, ethical and empathetic leader who is working to change Washington.
I figured the folks polled much watch MSNBC and CNN. Turns out I was right!
73% of the Democrats polled thought we were on the right track
17% of Independents
10% of RepublicansThat made it even more suspicious as to how those numbers could result in a 48% overall right track vote.
So digging deeper, it turns out
36% of those polled were Democrats
18% Republican
26% Independent
18% None claimed
Still confused? Neither am I.

Wonder how much bailout money that CNN is getting for their decidedly left leaning reporting. Maybe their management is emulating immelt……hmmmm
