John Ziegler was arrested outside the Annenberg School of Journalism for being a journalist. He was there to interview people about Katie Couric receiving the Walter Cronkite journalism award for her Sarah Palin interview. (I know, what a joke!) He was handcuffed and detained by the armed guards. They were telling him he isn’t a journalist (as opposed to Katie Couric?) but if you watch until the end you’ll see they clearly contradicted themselves.

Can’t quite picture these guardians of public safety treating Ward Churchill or Jesse Jackson this way.

I saw the clip of that video last night and became furious. I can’t believe the things they get away with doing. I hope John Ziegler pursues legal action against them.

He might, I just posted a video of his interview with Greta. At the end she told him he should get a lawyer, he’s considering it.

Zorro……I agree with your comment re. Ward Churchill, but Jesse Jackson?? He’s the one who wanted to cut Barry’s gonads, and since such comment, has been maintaining an extremely low profile. Actually it’s rather nice to have that bunch of ‘oh-woe-is-me’rs’out of the limelight.

[...] a good thing Couric gave this speech after receiving her Walter Cronkite journalism award, or they may have mistaken her for a left wing talk show [...]
