The crowd that thinks it’s okay to hang out with a radical who bombed buildings and allegedly murdered police officers are now blaming conservatives for the recent killings of Pittsburgh police officers. Some have also blamed conservatives for the psycho that gunned down thirteen innocents in Binghamton, NY.
In both of those cases I didn’t think that the guy must have been a democrat. Anarchist maybe, psychotic mental case maybe, but I wasn’t thinking in terms of political ideology. That kind of thinking is nothing more than a way to score political points off a tragedy, which is why I’m not surprised at the swiftness of the left in laying the blame on conservatives. If I wanted to take the time I could go through reports of the Binghamtom killer’s letter and find dozens of liberal policies that turned him into a monster, but that would be wrong because it if it weren’t one thing it would have been another. The man was obviously mentally ill.
Glenn Beck was accused of being one of the “right wing nuts“ who incited this violence, as were Michele Bachmann, Chuck Norris and Rush Limbaugh. Standing up for the Constitution and all of it’s amendments is now considered an act of treason by the left. (If you ask me, the left went off the deep end a long time ago. They refuse to understand what the Founders went through to leave us with a Republic. Their willingness to give it away so cavalierly is disturbing.)
When Barack Obama the Candidate said “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun” did the left wing media pounce on that remark and blame the future president of inciting violence? Was he sending out signals for his supporters to shoot John McCain? If John McCain had uttered such a comment you would have heard that and worse. Every stabbing or gun death would have been blamed on Senator McCain for the rest of the year.
I don’t know about the right wing nuts out there, all I can say is they aren’t true conservatives. Any true conservative would never, ever, advocate the killing of innocents or police officers. True conservatives believe in the law and expect our government to follow the law, in the same manner we the people are expected to obey the law. A desire to defend ourselves and our families against the psychos in the world is perfectly normal.
The most radical thing conservatives are doing now is protesting, something the left has done forever. Maybe that’s what has the left wing nuts so nervous. We’re finally taking a page out of their play book and they don’t like it. Really, what are people going to think of these well-groomed, normal and peaceful people airing their grievances against the government in public?

Update: I was looking up the John Adams quote about one third Tory, one third true blue and one third timid and I came across another Adams quote that’s applicable to this topic.

We knew that would happen, because conservatives own guns. Ya know why? Because if some guy is coming in my house at 3:00 a.m. and I didn’t invite him, I’m not calling 911 until he’s down for the count (of six). I’m not screaming for HELP. I’m doing what needs to be done in that situation and will deal with the PC crap later. Speaking as someone who owns and owns for a REASON. The fact is no cop can be here for me in 20 seconds flat. And cops will tell you that they WANT sane citizens to take care of themselves.
I WOULD be interested to know the voting records of most mass-shooters in this country. Every time this happens and you read the details of the loser’s life, he is always someone who thinks things aren’t “fair”. What party does that sound like?? Pffffft. Rest assured, this administration will find a reason to take our guns. They absolutely want us helpless, in every way.

They want the ultimate nanny state. If we can take care of ourselves we won’t need them. You’ll never hear about how many violent crimes would have been prevented if not for gun control. Just like you won’t hear how many people were lifted out of poverty by capitalism.

I pray I will never have to use deadly force, yet I practice regularly in the event that it comes to that, I will be more capable than my opponent. It isn’t blood lust, as they would have people believe, it is awareness of the fact that there are people out there that will kill you. They are best met with a like attitude.
