Liz Cheney sat down with Norah O’Donnell on MSNBC. Naturally, Ms. O’Donnell read hysterical headlines to bolster her own viewpoint – rather than being an objective journaist. When given the chance to speak, Cheney made the case that waterboarding is not torture, and in fact, the techniques used have been done to our own people as part of their training. The final nail in O’Donnell’s torture coffin was when Cheney said that al-Qaeda doesn’t follow the Geneva Convention – when they capture one of ours they cut his head off.
You can find the Mukasey/Hayden article Cheney referred to here, which offers further insight into the subject.

Seems as though the Ms. O’Donnells have a hard time grasping reality.

IMO: That was a SMACKDOWN! **Way to go Liz!**
I’m surprised NBC keeps it posted.
HOWEVER. I watched this with a lib. They FELT that the NBC commentator had the upper hand: “More passionate” “Didn’t spin like Liz did” were some comments. O’Donnell also got points for talking over what Liz had to say.
