Obama Declares We Are Not a Christian Nation

While visiting Turkey President Obama declared we are not a Christian nation. While he’s correct that we don’t have a national religion and Americans are free to practice whatever faith they choose, he can’t deny the fact that our republic was founded on Judeo-Christian values. Of all weeks to make such a comment.

You know, I thought the right-leaning folks sending those emails about Obama being a closet Muslim was a little…well…too conspiracy for me. But remarks like this following that deep-knee bow to Saudi Arabia makes me very uneasy. I know he wants a secular country–all on the left do. But this bowing and scraping to people who are, for the most part, not our friends should make a lot of people back up and take another look, wouldn’t you think? And it really doesn’t matter what the American Left or the Europeans think of that bow—what matters is what Al Jazeera subscribers think of that bow. What it means in the context of THEIR cultures. He has done the country a lot of harm this week, harm that I fear is going to come back and bite us just like misunderstanding our enemies bought us 9-11.

Also, as a “HarvardEducatedConstitutaionlLawyer”, has he read even the Cliff Notes version of the Constitution???

Well, I choose to “bitterly cling” to my Bible, and my guns, and that’s that.

Only a person who does not espouse Judeo-Christian beliefs could ever say such a thing as what he proclaimed to the world this past week. What a shameful man. He is guilty of heresy and I say he needs to be called on it. He portends to be acting the part of a Christ-like figure in trying to ‘make peace’ with the world. But his motives are in NO WAY Christ-like. He is positioning himself as King of the World.
