Pat Toomey, Senate candidate from Pennsylvania, spoke to Sean Hannity tonight about Arlen Specter’s decision to become a democrat. Pat Toomey is the reason Specter decided to change that initial after his name. He was killing Specter in the polls and Specter knew the only way to save his own political career was to jump ship into the life boat offered by Harry Reid. Toomey notes that Specter hasn’t limited his betrayals to republicans, he’ll pretty much betray anyone when it suits his purpose; his purpose being keeping his cushy job on Capitol Hill.
I have a check with Pat Toomey’s name on it. I suggest we all do our best to support Mr. Toomey. Even if all you can spare is 10 bucks, he can use every cent. If Toomey can beat Specter it will send a clear message to Washington: We the people have had enough.
